Those words slipped out
of your mouth as if you
thought it would be ok
the words you said
made me question things

But I didn’t really think
twice about it
YOU told ME not to tell
YOU told ME to keep it
just between us and
if I told my mom she
would be mad at
YOU AND ME

But what I didn’t know is
a month later
the same words would
come back again but
this time you added
something else

A question that would
make me feel so
unsafe around you
and once again the
words keep this between us
don’t tell your mom

Slowly came out of your
mouth like a snake slithering
through the grass and those
words hit me so hard
I felt like I couldn’t
breathe

After you said it my body
went numb
ever since then
my body has been numb
I CAN”T F***ING FEEL ANYTHING
it’s all your fault
and I hate you for that
