Where I'm From
I am from the place of constant traffic
But my mind travels, not focusing on one thought at a time
My attention span, unique and unlike my peers.
I am from a home that matches my mind
But my heart isn’t in Hartland . . . trying to escape
Wisconsin’s northern woods excites me.
I am from vacations of hunting, fishing and four wheeling,
Opportunities to escape my routine life,
Only temporary until I return to my mundane existence.
I am from spending quality time with people who I appreciate
Friendship, family and support
Learning from loved ones who I aspire to be like.
I am from weekends of waking up early in Mother Nature’s environment
Sitting in the cold, fog rising as the sun comes up
Living for trips upnorth until the day I officially move there!
