September 20, 2017
I am from a house.
On the corner seen,
unnoticed.
I am from a house filled.
Hiding in my room,
forgotten.
I am from a fresh family.
Lost in my own house,
unfound.
I am from a family of geniuses.
Stuck in my thoughts,
behind them.
I am from a family big as a maple tree.
One of seven,
lost in the branches of people.
I am from a school
Fading into the crowd,
a kid.
I am from a person.
Growing into myself,
Becoming someone.
I am 18.
an adult at last,
seen.
