A four leaf clover
An imperfection in nature
But to us, something that is special
A bird of white and purple feathers
Are beauty in our eyes

But what about those among us?
Those with differences inside or out
The ones with a limp
The ones with the scars
The ones who keep themselves safe

Those among us that are different
Are not seen as beautiful
But as a disease
That they should be treated differently
Because of it all
That they need more help?

What is so wrong with the world
Why can’t we see
That these differences
Imperfection
Make them stronger than any of us
Stronger than any of us
All of us
Could ever be
