Sick as Life
Our world is a sickly man,
Drawing near his final breath.
The human bacteria doesn't help this though,
As we brought it so close to its death.
Just as sick as life
It's natural though, it always happens
And has happened many times before.
If we helped this man enough,
We would delay the making of a corpse.
Almost as sick as life.
We may be the least important germs,
or the greatest virus-killers of them all,
but we all have purpose, not a motive, to be here,
No matter how massive or small.
Maybe not as sick as life.
