I am the roots,
Running deep with love, 
Strength and character.

Dad is the trunk, 
A center, core, stability, 
And someone to lean on.

Mom is the beautiful long flowing branches,
Reaching out to people and us kids, helping
Us know the Lord, being
The hands and feet of Jesus.

Nathan is the leaves,
Unpredictably changing his 
Moods throughout the seasons,
Loving us at all times.

Madelyn the youngest, is becoming the
Sprouts and buds, still learning and growing.

My family is the tree of life, with a strong foundation, 
Rooted in love, and deep in faith. We are learning, growing,
And depending on each other throughout this journey of life.
