Maybe one day
Deep down she want to believe that you do care.
When she cries herself to sleep
She hopes that maybe one day you'll be there
To dry her tears and hold her
And tell her that it's okay
It's going to be okay.
She thinks about those times
When just your stare made her smile.
She remembers how you would sometimes smile too,
and how that made her feel less alone.
She loves you.
She cares about you.
She wishes that you could feel the same,
but really she knows you can't
Not anymore.
She's no one to you now.
Totally invisible
Like you don't even know that she exists.
If only you knew how much that hurt her.
When your friends call her things
It hurts
Because all you do is laugh along
Proving how much you don't care.
She wants to believe that one day you'll see the hurt in her eyes
And care just a little.
But she knows that that's not going to happen
Not any time soon
