I hoped to strike silver

With my calcium-crusted

Shovels

Inside of a king's cake on the

Table.

Instead I became a diver

Finally finding Blackbeard's

Mystery.

Jewels; pearl necklaces; gold coins!

All these and more. Under this

Tiny red-shingled roof

A treasure was hid!

I always see the fishermen in

Their green rubber boots

Slumbering by their bobbing rods;

But i never saw a bait box.

Is it I then? They bait me

With the hidden riches

Of their past legacy

To understand the unknown;

to drown on jewels of old yore!
