Ever-Growing
Time rushing by ever so fast;
It seems almost everyday i’m thinking,
Thinking about something from my ever-growing past.
Why can't it just slow down?
I try to make the most of the time I have left;
But what for?
No matter what, I am always left bereft.
Of the little I have learned, this is the most I’m sure.
