A beggar asked me for a dollar.

I turned him away dispite his hollar.

The pain in his stomach crippled his face.

I thought of him as a disgrace.

A friend asked me for help.

I turned him away dispite his yelp.

The pain in his heart never touched his face.

Everyone thought of me as the disgrace.

I asked a buisnessman for a job.

He turned me away dispite my sob.

"I see you everynight inside my head." he said,

"now it's me turning you away instead."

I prayed to a lost friend for guidence.

He said there was malice inside us.

For if we take more than we need,

We loose all good friends to greed.

My inspiration comes from the people I see everyday, ignorant to the pain they inflict on others, yet hyperaware of the pain others inflict on them.
