Dream
I had a dream"
that change will come,
Yes in deed
Not only will
It come
It is already here
The time to embrace and endure
Because the time will come when unity
Will be no more
As we remember those who fought
Sacrificing their own flood.
And instilling their own personal views
Who would have thought?
Well for sure we know that their families,
Yes there distraught.
Malcolm, Martin, emit, filando, Freddie, trey, Gardner who would have thought
Apologies your honor, they labeling them a suspect,
And that’s a problem
This is messing with my conscience
Man this system is really out of pocket, how we going to stop it
They losing their love for many
They used to spell it with an er now we spell it with an ar,
But either way that is not what we are
Trying to slow it down just to make it better but there is so much bottled up
Ready to throw it up
People talking and labeling us a threat but we not
They just say you’re a problem and that is that
to busy looking at our negro
Just because we not Blanco
But who cares, when you successful and you got a dream.
