Welcome to the house
of never ending notes,
Where the windows are always open
and the breeze carries
the freshest scent of the perfect concerto,
Where no one resides
and yet the atmosphere is hauntingly lively,
Where I have danced a vivacious waltz
for many seasons,
Where my only company is myself
and yet I'm never alone
among the breathtaking symphony,
Every night the moon shines through me
and I remember
who I once was,
But who I once was does not matter,
not in the hereafter,
But the music,
oh the prepossessing orchestra,
returns all the glory
to my translucent bones,
It illuminates me once more,
Oh phantom of pleasure
you lure me to a path I wish to yield.
But when I go to touch that bewitching maker of sound,
I am reminded
that the melody is my ghost.
