Trapped
Why is it said that the worst punishment is to be trapped and confined?
  Try being free
  But feeling trapped
  Imagine having a voice
With no one to hear it
  Imagine having thoughts
With no one to listen to them
  Imagine having a hand
With no one to hold it
Try being among a thousand people
  But feeling alone
  Try running in open plains
  But feeling boxed in
  Try having emotions
But no one to understand how you show them
  Picture craving human touch
  But fearing the contact
Picture desiring to live an adventure
But feeling pain from loud sounds alone
Picture longing to share your wonderments with
But having no way for them to understand the way you see things
  Envision avoiding loneliness
By creating friends of your own
  Envision avoiding feeling frightened
By going on adventures in books
Then envision realizing that all your adventures and friends
Can’t help you in the real world that they are all just for nothing
So after imagining all of this
Realize that the whole time you have been free
So is entrapment and confinement truly the worst punishment
Or is there a punishment greater?
