Humanity
Lights hopeful enough
To blind
Waves beautiful enough
To threaten
A sky tired of carrying its own weight
So it pours
In a world so beautiful
And so populated
They walk alone
Together

This poem was based off a picture I came across in which a seemingly hopeless person was seen walking between mother nature's episodes and a chaotic city. I thought of everyone else in the world that might have been doing the same thing and tied the poem to humanity. It is meant to be short and mysterious, the first half dedicated to nature and the second half dedicated to humanity.
