Terrified
Sinister clowns are everywhere.
I have typical haunted house jitters.
Bloody axes, chainsaw men,
And headless horsemen.
Everywhere I look
There is a new jump scare
Or cause of a heart attack.
Alarming colors consisting
Of red and orange
Surround me.
This isn’t fun anymore.
I’m just supposed to be here.
To have a good time.
Not leave in a body bag.
The air is thick and stale,
Reeking of old burned flesh.
This doesn’t seem like a regular haunted house
To me.
The walls are closing in,
Suffocating me.
