My lungs are synched
Dry like the heat
My tears follow hairs
And run down my cheeks
I cringe and reach for it
Jumping so high
Grasping and grabbing
That feeling is nigh
Bulging eyes
Stare right in my soul
Fall to my knees
Set fire to coal
Burning and burning
I lay on the ground
Whisper and whisper
No, not a sound
Just silence forever
It's not really fair
I can't take the leap
Or do I dare?
