Saturday Living
I woke up to the sound of the teapot screaming,
My mom making breakfast downstairs.
I step outside and felt the cold air slap me across my face,
The leaves dancing under the old oak tree.
I walk into the living room with my brother's eyes glued to the TV,
I sat down and watched the show with him.
Breakfast was ready in the next few minutes,
The smell of the food sang right into my ears.
I love Saturday's.
