To the One of Which Broke My Heart

To the one of which is like a hurricane. Passing through with ease, leaving everything in your path a disaster. To the one of which is a well known disappointment, yet the chances come like a pouring rain in the spring. To the one of which broke my heart with five simple words. Five words that made my world come to a crumbling end. "I do not love you". Words of which I shall never forget, words that could drive one insane. Everything was so dim, all a haze. Tears of pain, real pain. Everything looked as if there would be no fixing, as if the broken parts could no longer be put back together because of their small size. Too many have come and gone, leaving the pieces of your shattered heart smaller and smaller every time. "Sorry", the word that will be all you hear after the realization. No. You should never give that person the chance to apologize. He said they would love you, and he left. Leaving you with a little less than what you had to start with. Nothing came to his mind when he left. Why should you even think twice of giving him another chance? If a man is not proud enough to respect you as his woman, why should you be proud to respect him as any man at all. Your name will always taste bitter falling from my lips.

Have you ever heard of the saying "The first is the worst"? Well I found that out the hard way. My first heartbreak was horrible and I didn't know what to do with myself. I couldn't express myself and let everything loose. I finally found myself writing about it, and it helped me cope with the pain. I poured my soul out in this writing, and it felt so amazing. I would hope that any female (or male) would find this as that little push they needed to walk away from a toxic person or relationship.
