This is my voice,
there are many like it,
but this one is mine.
It is the voice of the bullied and battered hearing rumors through the grapevine.
Standing up for the lesser only ended in pain and consequence
Not only beating them physically but tearing down their confidence.
These may just be words on a paper to some, but I am writing
For the men and women whose lives are not as exciting...as they seem.
I have been through the path that was less traveled by and was scolded
Never telling myself that something was wrong almost seemed like I was blindfolded.
This also is for the people who think it is fine to stand there and admire
Trying not to be caught in the crossfire... in the warzone called life.
There was a kid I knew who was constantly harassed
Being called “not fast” “too vast” or “not enough class”    
He came home crying to his helpless mother and drunk father
Who constantly fought so why even bother?
Then one day superman came down to save the kids life
The knife that was constantly inflicting pain to this helpless kid...is now gone
All it took was the words of bystander for all of his struggles to flee
It doesn’t have to be...superman...It can be you.
You must be the voice for the people who are bullied in person and online
