Life of a Football Player
Football stadiums are always loud and crazy
Their fans never going half-way, even when losing
Plays are so slow there is always the band playing, or cheerleaders cheering
before the next play is run and the old one is played on the jumbotron
Two conflicting teams
on one field, in one place, at one time
We were ready to kick off the second half, the loud and rowdy half.
By obstructing the opponents that were in our way
Here, separate fans thinking different ways thinking the calls made should be flipped
It’s the fourth quarter
Coach yells, “Put your four’s up”
This is the time when our team beats our opponents
This is what we practice for
To grind, sacrifice, and work
What a player puts in during the week is what that player gets out of the game
