I stepped inside, history forgotten as I cried
Surrounded by strange names, and I: the nasty newcomer
Tiptoeing timidly to hide, my sadness I chide
With lack of pride I knew I was a bummer.

Exhausted of life, my self slipped into strife
Voices whispered about me: I wondered
What words I was conceiving, as I tried to quiet my heaving
My ears were disbelieving, as my heartbeats thundered
Faces continued deceiving, all thought: sundered.
What laughs! the memories of last happy summer I plundered

A counterfeit smile, cloaked by a friendly style
Truth of what I felt obscured: the hot and moist weather
As I am coming back from school crying, stale soul slowly dying
Recounting each tear before flying, the time we spent together
There was no denying, evidence in pain that lasts forever.
Oh God! lower that last happy summer to nether.
