Deep Like The Ocean
Do you know the depth of the ocean has never been found?
The distance till the end from the ground
So is depression, the deepest emotion,
It is as deep as the blue ocean
You feel lost, scared and lonely,
not wanting to talk to anybody.
You feel the urge to be moody,
but the urge to talk to somebody
Why do you feel so? Nobody knows.
Maybe like other things, research it undergoes.
Why do you want to talk but face nobody?
The brain or mind controls it, like our body.
It feels like you’re going for a swim.
A swim in the black water, so grim.
Oh! I forgot to mention it’s night.
It’s not polluted, don’t have a fight.
Don’t try to change a depressed person’s emotion;
It’s like using a tea spoon to empty the ocean.
So is depression, the deepest emotion,
It is as deep as the blue ocean.
