Poverty?

Poverty is feeling like a stranger.

Like a fish out of water,
Like a teardrop in a load laughter,
Like love in the heart of a hater!

Poverty is feeling lost.
Like a needle in a haystack,
Like a drop in the ocean,
Lost - that you can’t tell white from black!
Like walking through a door,
When you know there's no way back!

Poverty is feeling confused.
That you don't know,
When you're treated nicely,
And when you're abused!

Poverty is feeling pressured.
Like guessing on everything,
Because you're not sure about anything.
Like crying out loud,
Because of those hard feeling inside you.
Like suppressing all those demons,
Even though you're in greatest need,
For a gentle caress!

I feel like a stranger!
I feel lost!
I feel confused!
I feel pressured!
Because,
Poverty is dreadful loneliness!
