Caged Bird
Chirp! Chirp!
The bird so small and weak
shell still in the cage
chirping for its mom
who is nowhere to be seen
trying to flap her wings and go
like all the beautiful birds before her
flapping her wings as hard as she can
trying to figure out to be like them
but does not have a clue
why when she gets a little bit of the ground
she hits her head and falls back down
Like a chef that keeps getting bad reviews
always hopeful but alsways let down
but still the bird tries to fly out of the cage
and still the bird has hope to fly free
and still the bird chirps and sings
