Broken glass
The earthquake hit Haiti
My world collapse doesn't
I did not know what happened
Raced towards loved ones
my heart escaped my body
hearing the frightened scream of neighbors
I am a rock, paralyzed
Consumed by shock
I overcame my monster
The wind roared like a lion
A raaaaarrrr
People were trapped in their homes
Millions died that day
It pummeled the island
Everyone was damaged
trapped under suffocating rubble
Huge disaster
January 12, 2010 4:52 p.m.
Everyone crying
People were crushed like broken glass
