High School Life

January 10, 2017

Today I left behind,
The sleep that is key to the mind,
The time is fine but waking is a grind,
It is time to dine,

Delicacies such as eggs on a bagel
Cooked at home by my mom, tastes like a fable,
It is tasty but has to end I leave the table,

It is time to leave for school,
My brother has left for the pool,
Practice is early and the water is cool,
But he grinds like a power tool,

When school starts begins the day,
We are taught to listen and not to stray,
But the day has begun it is time to play,

When the day is over it truly is not,
To wrestling I head with no tater-tot,
Though I run like a horse it still hurts a lot.
