Unorthodox
The definition of muscles in her arm,
  The lack thereof in his,
  Her towering, somewhat intimidating figure,
  His compact, slightly curved one,
The hair on her head cropped short,
  Bedazzled with streaks of color,
The hair on his just grazing
  The tops of his shoulders,
The tip of a tattoo peeking out from beneath her top,
No such markings stained his body,
She was a growling grizzly bear,
He was the soothing hoot of an owl
She had her own tattoo parlor,
He was reduced to a mere house husband.
  While she contributed the money,
  He contributed the care,
  She exuded confidence,
  He was diffident at best,
She taught him how to face the world,
He taught her to love with a love so deep,
  A match made in heaven,
No one thought it would last.
