Power
Society, people, we all try to be number one
We let others tell us what to wear and how to wear it
It’s become harder to be you
We try to be the hottest
But we get lost in this wild world
Trying to be perfect, but it’s not that simple
Because down inside, that’s all you want to do
You want to shine
But with all the talk about body issues and makeup
That’s hard and it has to stop
So if you want people to see the real you
It has to start with you
So it’s time to be proud
So pick yourself up
And start a new classic

I wrote this peice because it shows how society feels today about the way people look at them or that they have to fit the mold everyone else is in. But I feel and wrote in this poem that you have to be you no matter what anyone says. You can't let what other people say, do, or think stop you. Do leave someone elses legacy when you die, leave yours.
