The age old adage

"Perfection doesn't exist"

rung true when he saw her

The scars from her past

made a vivid appearance 

to his keen eyes

The stretch marks around her arms

showed themselves shamelessly

She stood

Tall and proud

despite her flaws

despite her mistakes

And he fell

for that perfectly imperfect woman

I am currently a sophmore at Croatan High School and I just really wanted to express how nothing is perfect and beauty can be found in unperfect things with this poem.
