The Gum Thief
December 15, 2016
“Give me gum” Lucy Foley said.
She claims she can’t have gum for 2 weeks after tomorrow.
She claims her braces will be too tight.
Many things were going through my head at this point.
“Ugh she always asks me this”
“Get your own package of gum”
“Is she lying?”
These thoughts twist through my mind
After a while, feeling defeated I reluctantly handed her a piece
Just to find out
It was
A lie
