Love's Worst Nightmare
She is Toxic
The small kisses, oh how she rocks it
You can’t tell from afar
But she’s got my heart in a jar
In her pocket
My face in a locket
She is Toxic
Not in the way you’ll notice
A drug with no high
But the crashes will leave you dry
Her withdrawal will leave you shaking
Wanting
Needing
She is Toxic
If you somehow got away
Totally, completely unscatched
You’re luckier than you know
For she doesn’t leave any room to grow
She just leaves you feeling so low
She is Toxic

I wrote this piece while reflecting on an old relationship. I hope this piece will help people identify the people in their life like her, and find the courage to cut them out of their life.
