Strong
The foundation is merely together
And the walls no studs
It shouldn't bare the weight of a feather
Yet it stands tall
Where lies the trouble
It looks so beautiful and so bright
But with no beams of support, you would assume it would have fallen to rubble
Yet it stands tall
The problem isn't on the outside, but in
You would have never guessed with painted, pretty exterior
But there's holes and cracks where love should have been
Yet it stands tall
The house is so pleasing to the eye, but if you look into the windows you'll find it's dark and empty inside
Did you expect something else, perhaps something pleasant
But this isn't a place where happiness and hope abides
Yet SHE stands tall
