Grateful, or not?
The weather feeling as cold as a freezer, to cold to go outside
Legs feeling almost like stilts, too weak to walk
Eyes feeling so heavy as if they have never been shut, too tired to go on
Fingers feeling like they are going to break like tree branches, too tired to write
Stomach feeling as if there has never been food inside it, too hungry to move
A closet filled top to bottom with clothes, but nothing to wear
The dreadful feeling of going to work, even though money will be made
Getting into the cold car in the morning, but it will eventually get warm
Struggling to get out of bed to come to school, even though in return you gain education
Too many complaints, and not enough thanks

In my english class we read a poem that had to do with super heros and this poem inspired me to write mine about how even people as strong as super heros or regular people can still have complaints and not be thankful for what we have.
