I Miss You more and more everyday
It’s so unreal to know that you are not here
To share the wonderful memories of our wonderful family
To make the jokes that you always made
To sing the songs from way back in the day
To share another Sunday with us
Or even another meal that you graceful mother made
To hear your voice just one last time
To see your smile light up the sky
To hear your laugh fill a room
I can’t explain how it feels to not have you
But I can tell you that not a day goes by that I don’t remember those tears
Those tears that we all shed that day you left
Oh how hard it was to catch my breath
It all happened so fast
You were here and then you disappeared
Disappeared from our existence
Disappeared from the couch that you once laid your head
Disappeared from Us
The day we let you go
I sung a song just so you know
A song about angels and a golden crown
These days we try not to frown
Because you are in a better place
You aren’t hurting anymore
And by God’s loving grace
You are now with the lord.
I Miss You
Oh how much we miss you
You were a great atmosphere
And you never showed fear
Even with all you were going through
I never saw you give up
No not once did you give up
You were a fighter
A father
An uncle
A brother
And a son
You were all of these things
But I’ve forgotten one
You were in angel in disguise
And when we looked into those hazel eyes we saw a man
A man with dreams bigger than himself
A man with a personality like no one else
A man who could never be replaced
I Miss You
We miss you
And we love you.
