Alone
You're falling into an oblivion
So deep and dark
When you fall
Only a shadow returns
Vulnerable and frightened
Wishing to have been saved
Though you know nobody
Listens or hears
Nobody watches
Nobody sees
yet they they still do
They see a masquerade
A mask of smiles and cheer
A false bravado
You want them to see
Your eyes
The darkness that
Lurks behind
The lack of compassion
That left you nearly blind
You want them to see
You screaming
And writhing in agony
As nobody knows
The demons
That hide themselves
Inside
You want night to fall
So you can rest
Away from your demons
Away from your incompetence
To your world of dreams
Alone

Honestly my depression and view on the poeple around me is what caused me to write this. People don't pay close enough attention to others to nothice when they are really, and truely breaking inside, and I hope that this poem can give some indight on what it feels like to those suffering with depression, or what ever is going on, and not have people pay enough attention, or care enough, to notice.
