All of these years you have been searching
Not for the destination, but for the climb
And when you are preparing yourself for the future

Searching hard for the adventure of a lifetime
Something deep and meaningful, right now
Not to the beach, or to the mountains
All you know is that you’re going to discover something, just how?

You’re not there to find treasure or seek greatness
Or fame by finding something lost at sea
But do you even know what you're searching for
You’re trying to find something wandering, carefree

Trying to find yourself is hard enough
Especially when people aren't accepting
God created us to love while everyone is full of hate
It is an unfamiliar society we seem to be creating

I am taking this path through life
It seems to be the bumpiest one of them all
But throughout the struggles, pain, and denial
Rejection isn't going to make me fall

A trip around the moon will not give me answers
I am going to start my journey now
And even though this is a frightening stage
I am going to reach the top of my destination somehow
