Winds
Wind is blowing
What does one first think of
A simple breeze?
That rustles leaves on a tree
A strong wind
Almost knocking you down?
A wind coming from a fan,
Something simple but man-made
A spring breeze
Blowing across the
Newly grown grass?
A summer wind
With a slight warmth
That is comforting?
An autumn breeze
Blowing down
Colorful leaves?
A winter wind
So cold and frigid
That it chills you to the bone?
A wind that warns you of a storm.
Or a wind coming from a beach.
So many winds
That are all relatively the same.

This piece was based off a prompt that our teacher gave us asking what the first thing we heard that morning. For me it was the sound of wind from my ceiling fan.
