If Death Was a Song
If death was a song,
Then we all sing it.
Does that make us choir members,
Of the choir called The World?
Or,
If death was a song,
Then we all hear it.
Does that make us all active listeners,
Of the most listened to song of all?
Mayhaps,
If death was a song
Then some sing,
And some listen.
Those who are not afraid wait patiently.
Those who are afraid,
Close their ears in fear of their own senses.
And those who want to hear it faster,
Open up to sing the song of death,
Forevermore.
