4-Letter Word
There is no real definition of pain.
People can experience different kinds of pain.
The different kinds of pain in this world can range from physical, emotional and even mental. What hurts can be the people in your life who don’t understand you, the ones who you cannot connect with because they cause your pain. Maybe it’s your own mind; I could sit here and think myself into a bad mood without even trying hard. What hurts is when people do not understand you. What hurts is that anyone can believe a false smile and not even care to look beyond your surface.
But do you ever think of anyone else’s pain?
It may hurt them a lot more than it hurts you. You can hurt someone without even making an attempt. The pain causes a person to become guarded, to hide their feelings because they have no one to talk to.
What about that physical pain, you ask?
Physical pain goes on…and on…and on… and on. Until it hurts so much that it’s lost in some fallacy and eventually kills you. It may kill you on the inside, it may kill you period. People can hurt you, you can hurt yourself. The kinds of physical pain others influence you to focus on is scraping your elbow outside.
But what aren't they teaching us? Have you ever had someone randomly punch you in the face? Have you ever tried to hurt yourself?
Pain cannot be defined, nor can it be understood. 4 simple letters.
There are too many 4-letter words.
Pain.
Grin.
Hurt.
But what about the one everyone can't stand? The one word that seems to form the human mind.
Love.
What is love? [Insert Haddaway’s What Is Love?]
The pain strikes when love compels the human mind to act. Love affects us all. Whether or not we want to believe it, some of us will find it easily, others will struggle, and some may isolate themselves from the feeling.
But what is it? It's been a universal question for centuries. What makes the human fall in love? Love doesn't always last forever. Sometimes love comes painfully slow. But it's worth it in the end. These 4-letter words have more meaning than most anything on this planet…
Yet, the search continues for the definition.
They tell you love comes in any shape, form, and size. The definitions go on and on...and on.
Love: the one.
Love: what makes you whole.
But honestly… love is simple. Love is the most simple form because the feeling is so strong. We all feel it. There is one last chance to define that 4-letter word.
LOVE: what removes the pain.
