My People
Based on Matthew Baker's "Foundling"
My people are like the wind, flowing,
flying free, the whole world at our fingertips.
Your people are sluggish, tied to the ground
by only themselves.
My people are liberated, being the small few who are brave enough to stand up to common ideals,
while your people take other’s thoughts and accept them as their own, letting others do their thinking.
My people let no others think, speak or act in their place,
truly free from what your people see as normal.
