Alone at last
Do this, do that,
Dammit Bill pick up your hat.
She tries and tries to still care,
Hoping that his end is coming near.
Lying there in the small room,
Her fingers are crossed
Acting eyes despair
The nurse walks in,
Asks her to talk
Soft whispers and tears
Finally the end is here
Back at the house she begins to smile
She dances around the place to herself,
Stumbling across his old dirty cap,
She begins to think maybe her life has turn to crap.
You could see that one blue tear in her eye,
We all want alone time
But no one wants to be left all alone.

This poem speaks to the ones who wish their life away and don't want to live in present or the past but wish to be in the future. The people who do that show no value in life and are wishing the one and only life away.
