Blue Eyes

He had the kind of eyes
that you could get lost in
the blue of the water
the depth of the ocean
the glasses around his eyes
just made them bigger and brighter
they were the kind of eyes
that made you smile
just looking at them
the kind that made every other shade
just look boring and plain
the blue of the sky
on a sunny day
and the joy
of a child on christmas day
But no one deserves to hold
every star in the sky
especially not I
the girl with basic brown eyes
