I'm sorry you were never there for me
I love you so much.
Can you start calling me more?
Can you put my heart back together ?
Can you tell me you love me?
Can I fall into your arms when I have a bad day?
Back then
You were who I looked up to
You were the image I always craved to see
You were the shattered glass I tried to fix
You were the innocent soul I've always adored
You were the vessels in my heart
Don't you see the effect you've always had on me?
You've never been there.
Ever---
You've never seen me march down the aisle at my graduation
You've never seen me overcome my downfalls
You've never showed up when I wanted you to
You've never took me out like you were suppose to do
You've given me so many reasons to hate you I can't even look at you.
Look deep inside my eyes and tell me what you see.
Do you see anything?
Do you see how I've grown?
Do you see me sending endless messages to change your heart?
Do you see me crying because you're not in my life ?
I untied the rope that connected me to your soul. And I will never give you the power to
Tie it again.
