Overprotection
Paranoid is just partially what you would
call an overprotective parent
A person who double checks their
children's backpacks and sacklunches.
They play with a very thin line of
patients as does the kid who can’t leave
Not even to play hide and seek without the fear
Of losing their beloved dear.
Constant phone calls and texts consisting of
“Where are you?” “when are you coming home?”
Becomes a daily routine throughout the day
Whenever all you had was nothing to say
You might think they are overreacting
But all they wanna do is the best for you.
