Tree Love

Green,
Yellow,
Red,
Crystal,
are repeated as I fall.
A glimpse of a fresh love
soaring to the white
frosty air.
Sappy words poured
over christened hearts.
Indulged in a rapid
impulsive tree I am gathered
by the roots and carried.
Hearts now rotten like spoiled
meat thrown away in this dense
summer heat.
A farewell to an old love but
new breath.

This poem is in the point of view of a leaf watching young love blossom and fade.
