That Old Xbox (Memory Poem)
A girl and two boys,
Sitting across the bed.
They all held controllers in their hands.
They each had different levels of happiness on their faces.
The eldest boy’s smile faded.
The controller’s light turned off.
The sound of an Xbox turning off was heard.
The girl started to cry,
and the little one didn’t know why.
The older boy completely faded and the girl’s tears dried.
“What happened?” The confused little boy asked the girl.
“He hurt me,” the girl responded.
“But… where’d Bubba go?” The little boy asked sadly.
“He had to leave,” the girl stated, starting to cry again.
“Where?” The boy asked.
Silence was his response as the girl slowly faded as well.
That old Xbox saw everything.
The game slowly was ejected from it’s slot.

So, this is one of my most open memories. I usually can't remember very well but not this time. I remember this one vivdly. It is very sad and I'm still dealing with the aftermath. I cannot explain it and this is the original, without any changes. This is what I originally wrote.
