Louisiana Dancers
Cajun sands float in the
foamy Gulf waters,
Dancing in tiny circles the graceful sands
transform into ballroom dancers,
Little fish drowsily
drift through the hypnotic waters
Upsetting the little ballroom dancers
with every twitch of their fins.
Togehter they dance a dance
the dorwsy fish and graceful sands.

It has always been a dream of mine to go and visit Louisiana. I went to Panama City when I was in Elementry school. That was the closet I've got to being near Louisiana. The first time I saw the Ocean amazed me. The way the waters spun the sand around was so graceful. The little fish that swam by my toes were also very entertaining to watch. So when I wrote this poem I wrote about what I hoped it would be like to see the Gulf when visiting Louisiana.
