Darth Vader
I awake
But not as myself
I awake to surgery
As I am put into the machine
I feel what's left of the humanity I had leave me
Limbs replaced by metal
Organs replaced by wires
And as I am put into the machine
My friends become enemies
My enemies stay enemies
And I become a target
And as I am put into the machine
No longer do I feel happiness
Only anger and hate
No longer do I see multiple colors
Only shades of red
No longer do I hear joyous laughs
Only painful cries
And as I am put into the machine
I realize something
I am no longer a man
I’m a monster
As I become the machine
