I was in the waiting room
The nurse called me in.
The room looked like closet
With a curtain separating me from another guy.

She asked,”How bad does it hurt?”
I said “Like a car hitting your leg!”
“Or like someone on a baseball player throwing a ball at you!”

She rolled her eyes
She took forever
I talked to the person next to me
He was there for stitches

She ask “So the boards hit you ?”
“No! We’ll ... Kinda.”
Next a woman named Rose came in
She took me for my X-Rays

Then it got painful
The doc asked “Does it hurt when I do this?”
“YAH! Will you stop?”
She looked at me. Like she did nothing wrong.

I asked my dad “can we get crutches?”
He asked her. she said “we are all out.”
so I had to caper around until the next day. 
She gave me a brace and then we went back to the hotel.
