He said he loved you.
He gave you roses.
But cut you with the thorns.
He said he loved you.
He gave you kisses
But you weren’t the only one to receive them.
He said he loved you
He gave you love.
But he also hurt you.
He said he loved you.
He gave you happiness
But he also gave you pain.
He said he loved you.
He gave you bruises.
But he didn’t stop.
He didn’t love you.
He lied to you.
But you were already too hurt.
